Psychoeducational & Neurodevelopmental
Getting started is simple
One enquiry sets everything in motion. Through your own secure portal you share school reports, past assessments, or notes from teachers. If the school is involved, we coordinate directly with the SENCO so you don't have to chase anyone. The assessment happens remotely, from the comfort of home, with pre and post-assessment consultations arranged around you. And you're never left with a report you can't decode. Every assessment ends with a full consultation with the Psychologist that walks you through exactly what it means for your child.

How we can work directly with Independent Schools
A single referral sets the process in motion. Each school and family receives a dedicated, secure documentation portal: your SENCO becomes the single point of contact, forwarding teacher input requests while parents upload their information in parallel. Assessment takes place in a quiet room at school or at home, and pre and post-assessment consultations are arranged around the SENCO, the parents, or both. Every report delivers targeted recommendations specific to the student's complete diagnosis.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Cost of an EP Report
An EP report from SEN Psychology costs £2,100 and this is fully inclusive. As a private provider we are not tied to any Local Authority, and are not limited by the scope of recommendations we can make.
Our client families choose us because we provide immediate access to highly qualified HCPC-registered educational psychologists with no waiting lists, and because our reports are recognised by schools, exam boards, universities and Local Authorities.
Do you complete Form 8 for exam access arrangements?
Yes. Our psychologists complete Part 2 of Form 8, the assessor’s section, using the standardised scores from the assessment. Most private assessments leave your SENCo to work through a report and transfer the evidence themselves.
Do you offer standalone ADHD diagnosis
We can assess and psychologically diagnose ADHD as a standalone assessment, against DSM-5-TR and ICD-11 criteria. We use the MOXO continuous performance test, which measures attention, timing, impulsivity and hyperactivity objectively under standardised visual and auditory distraction, so performance is measured directly rather than inferred from someone’s impression of your child.
That sits alongside structured rating scales completed by you and by school, the SNAP-IV 26 and the Conners, an executive functioning inventory, and a full developmental and clinical history taken directly from you.
Our Psychologists can officially diagnose ADHD including which presentation it is, and how severe it is.
If you then want to explore medication, take the report to your GP. Medication is prescribed by a paediatrician or psychiatrist, and your GP refers into that pathway.
A full diagnostic report with objective attention data and standardised scores is exactly the evidence that supports a referral, and it is considerably more than most families have when they start that conversation.
The cost of an ADHD assessment and clinical diagnosis is £1,150 with the results available 14-days after assessment.
How does an assessment actually help my child?
The most immediate change is that your child stops being misunderstood. Children who struggle without a known reason draw their own conclusions long before anyone else does, and the conclusion is almost always that they are stupid, lazy, or the problem in the room. They have usually been told some version of it, by a report card, a frustrated teacher, or a classmate. An assessment replaces that with an explanation. There is a reason, it has a name, it is not their fault, and it is not about how clever they are.
It changes what is expected of them. Once a school understands that a child’s difficulty producing written work is a processing or motor issue rather than a lack of effort, the response changes from pressure to support. Work is presented differently, expectations are set against what your child can actually do, and the daily experience of being asked to do something they cannot do stops.
It puts the right help in place, specifically. An assessment identifies what your child needs rather than what generally helps children with similar difficulties. Extra time in exams, a laptop, work broken into steps, instructions repeated and chunked, movement breaks, teaching that plays to strengths rather than repeatedly hitting the weakness. These are the adjustments that make the difference between coping and getting nowhere.
It shows what your child is good at. Assessments are usually sought because something is going wrong, and the profile that comes back almost always contains genuine strengths that nobody had measured, sometimes considerable ones. Knowing them changes how a child sees themselves and how a school teaches them.
And it changes what happens next. Difficulties that go unidentified do not stay contained. They turn into anxiety about school, refusal to attend, behaviour that gets treated as defiance, and years of falling further behind. Identifying what is happening early is what interrupts that.
Are your assessments NICE-guideline aligned?
Yes. Our assessments follow NICE guidance for evidence-based, best-practice evaluation, and are carried out by HCPC-registered practitioner psychologists with training and expertise in the conditions they assess.
